3rd July 2017
What another wonderful day. Thank you so much to the PTA for their amazing organisation of this annual event. The weather was kind and the feedback has been fantastic. Thank you for your continuing support of both your children and the school.
End of Year arrangements
The end of the year is always the busiest time, with discos, graduation, PGL, new classes….. the list is endless! Our website is updated regularly, so if you need to check any dates of arrangements, you will find copies of letters and information on the calendar.
We update the blog at least once a day with news, photos and information – it is an excellent way to keep track of events at QPA. We also have a twitter account, so you can follow us on there too.

6th and 7th July INSET Days reminder
If you are working , we are able to provide care for your child/children during the normal school day. You must inform Mrs Simmons in advance if you require childcare during the day. We need to know numbers before the days to ensure we have sufficient adult supervision. If you do not inform us by Tuesday 4th July, we will be unable to have your children over those days.
I am becoming increasingly aware that there are families planning to take their children out of school for the last week/s of school. Holidays in term time are against the law and it is imperative that children are at school. Any requests for time will not be authorized and we will judge on a case by case basis whether or not to issue fixed penalty fines. I will also point out that once a child’s absence has been unauthorized for more than 10 days, without going on roll at another school, they will be reported as a child missing in education. We are then able to remove them from our roll and offer their place to the next child on the waiting list. The most important thing to us at QPA is to ensure all children are safe, which is why their absences would be reported to the appropriate authorities, enabling them to elicit the location and safety of the child. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to come in and discuss further.
With best wishes
Mrs S Simmons
