On Thursday 3rd March, we will be celebrating World Book day in school with an Alice in Wonderland theme. As part of this celebration we are fortunate to have a production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ coming into school. All of the children will have the opportunity to see the show and will experience two days of Curriculum Enrichment focusing on Literacy, Maths and Art surrounding the well-loved tale.
To support the children’s enjoyment and to immerse them in the story, we would like to ask you to encourage your child to dress up on Thursday 3rd March. The theme of this dressing up can either be related to Alice in Wonderland (some ideas can be found below), or link in with the bedtime reading theme and wear PJs or onesies. Please note that they must have suitable footwear and coats for playtime.
We hope that you are able to support us in promoting a love of reading and books by taking part in what aims to be a thoroughly enjoyable two days, full of valuable learning experiences and memories.
