Sports Relief Reminder
Thank you for all your support regarding our recent poster competition. The School Council found it extremely difficult to choose year group winners which are detailed below;

Year 4: Alice Wood
Year 5: Alek Krzywda
Year 6: Ella Whitehouse
We are all very excited about our fundraising day next Friday, 18th March. The School Council have organised the day and we are looking forward to seeing all the red outfits. Apart from sporting activities there will be:
Biscuits and muffins on sale at break time: 20p a biscuit or three for 50p
Splat the Teacher and School Councillors at lunch time (School Councillors if they have parental permission): 20p a sponge or three for 50p
The children’s safety is our priority. However, we are increasingly concerned by the danger they are put in as a result of some hazardous parking outside the school and in the local area. I have witnessed many potential accidents as a result of parents dropping children off in the middle of the road or stopping for them to get in at the end of the day. This is not safe and we ask you please not to do this.
We are also concerned about the number of parents parking on double yellow lines outside school and on the corners of roads nearby. Apart from causing an obstruction, parents and/or members of the public who hold a disabled badge have been unable to park as a consequence.
If you are late to collect at the end of the day as you have been unable to park, we will ensure your children are kept safely with us until you are able to stop safely. As I said earlier, the children’s wellbeing is always our top priority.
Best wishes for the weekend, enjoy the promised weather!
