Dear Parents and Carers

What an eventful Spring Term we have had!  The last two weeks have been especially busy with Sports Relief day, Easter Discos, Easter Raffle and school trips.

Sports Relief Day

The children had great fun ; we had inter-house competitions, cake, biscuit sale and sponge the teacher, all to raise money for a good cause.  The children collected an amazing £634.51.

As always our thanks to the hard working PTA who came up trumps organising the Easter Discos.  Over 300 children came to the discos with many buying hot dogs and candy floss, so they kept all the PTA members busy!

Thank you for all the donations to the Easter Hampers, I hope that the lucky winners enjoy all that chocolate.

The next big event on the PTA calendar is organising the Summer fair which this year will be held on 18th June 2016.  Please get in touch with Michelle East or Dawn Adlem if you are able to help or would like to book a stall, their email addresses are [email protected] or [email protected] .

We were very proud of the choir’s recent performance at ‘The Lighthouse’ in Poole.  They sang beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed the  experience.  They have been invited to ‘The Royal Albert Hall’ in June to perform and will continue to rehearse and learn new songs in preparation.

Please can I remind you that the children must wear correct uniform to school.  There have been some children coming to school without ties.  It is an important part of our uniform and essential they have one.  Both uniform suppliers have them in stock and are open over the Easter break, so please ensure your child comes in on Tuesday 12th April with one on.  Also can I please remind you that hair must be tied up at all times and that we do not have extreme hairstyles such as tramlines in our uniform policy.

With best wishes for the Easter break.  We look forward to seeing the children rested for a busy summer term.
