Dear Parents and Carers

What an eventful Spring Term we have had!  The last two weeks have been especially busy with Red Nose day, Easter Discos, and the Easter Raffle.

Red Nose Day

The children had great fun and we managed to raise £596 with donations and biscuit sales.  Thank you as always for your continued support.

As always our thanks to the hard working PTA who came up trumps organising the Easter Discos.  Over 300 children came to the discos with many buying hot dogs and candy floss, so they kept all the PTA members busy!  Thank you for all the donations to the Easter Hampers, I hope that the lucky winners enjoy all that chocolate. The next big event on the PTA calendar is organising the Summer fair which this year will be held on 1st July 2017.  Please get in touch with Emma Wood if you are able to help, Emma can be contacted at [email protected].

On Line Payments

Apologies.  It transpires there is a glitch in the system and not all parents are able to link their account to their child.  I will let you know once this has been resolved and thank you in the meantime for your patience.

Term Dates

Please see the updated term dates for 2017/18 on the reverse so you can ensure all holidays are booked in the school holidays.

Please can I remind you that the children must wear correct uniform to school.  There have been some children coming to school without ties and school shoes.  They are an important part of our uniform and essential they have them.  Both uniform suppliers have ties in stock and are open over the Easter break, so please ensure your child comes in on Monday 24th April with one on.  Also can I please remind you that hair must be tied up at all times and that we do not have extreme hairstyles such as tramlines in our uniform policy.

The last week of term is planned to be an exciting one and then the children can enjoy a well deserved rest.  I hope you all enjoy the break.  We look forward to seeing the children rested for a busy summer term.

Best wishes as always,

Mrs S Simmons

Associate Principal
